Let’s begin today with our foundational texts for this series. Genesis 1:3 says, And God said, let there be light and there was light. And Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. In the last session we learned that faith comes by hearing the word of God. In the same way, you could say that faith in the devil comes by hearing the words of the devil.
1) Put the word of God in your mouth
Joshua 1:8 says, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
2) God’s word believed in the heart and spoken out of the mouth brings the manifestation of the promise.
Mark 11:22-24 says, 22 Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.”
